The Lineup That Might Just Change Your Year

Welcome to our Women’s Empowerment Summit 2026 spotlight series — a behind-the-curtain look at the powerhouse women joining us at Treetops Resort on February 21 in Gaylord, Michigan. Each brings a different lens, a different story, and a different kind of magic. Consider this your warm invitation to meet them… and then meet us in person.

There are certain moments in life where you can feel something shifting before it even happens — like the air right before a thunderstorm, or the moment just before the DJ plays your favorite song. That’s what curating this year’s Women’s Empowerment Summit felt like.

It started simple: “Let’s gather some brilliant women to speak.”

And then suddenly we had a lineup that made us sit back and whisper, “Oh… this is going to be big.”

Let me introduce the cast:

There’s Dr. Stacey Gedeon, who somehow makes Emotional Intelligence feel like an overdue conversation with your inner self. She’ll have you naming your feelings with the confidence of a woman who finally knows the difference between “tired” and “emotionally done.”

Then Jamie Medler, who could probably diffuse a dangerous situation and host a killer book club in the same afternoon. She’s spent her life protecting communities, children, and families, and now she’s ready to help you feel safer, stronger, and more equipped in your everyday life.

Next is Dr. Nicole Persing-Wethington, the scientist-sage hybrid who can explain stress physiology so clearly you’ll wonder why you ever blamed yourself for needing rest. She has this magical way of making health, resilience, and lifelong learning feel doable, not overwhelming.

Of course, we have Rachel Longendyke-Teeter, the woman who turns service into connection and self-advocacy into courage. She’ll remind you that your voice is both powerful and worth using, without any apologies attached.

Then there’s Jillian Tremonti, who believes in belonging the way some people believe in morning coffee. She creates it. She teaches it. She lives it. And if you’ve ever felt like you didn’t fit neatly into a box, Jillian is going to help you create one that fits you beautifully.

And finally, Anita Merchant, who will take financial literacy - something most of us learned by googling things we were too embarrassed to ask - and turn it into clarity and confidence. She’s equal parts banker, entrepreneur, and your soon-to-be favorite financial cheerleader.

Together? They are the dream team. The “you didn’t even know you needed this until now” team.

And they’ll all be under one roof, on one day, in one of the most beautiful winter landscapes northern Michigan has to offer.

If you can feel something stirring in your chest while you read this… trust that.

This summit isn’t just an event. It’s a recalibration.

This blog is part of our Women’s Empowerment Summit 2026 spotlight series. If these women are speaking to something in you, trust that tug — and join us on February 21 at Treetops Resort in Gaylord, Michigan. Tickets are $140, and you can grab yours here.
